Day 3 & 4: The Survivors

Days 3 and 4 have been dedicated to keeping the remaining fry alive, as best I could. Lots of water changes. Lots of Seachem Prime. An attempt at an appropriate number of rotifers.
But, the good news is that there were 8 survivors from the Day 2 debacle, and they are alive! Still very, very small, which makes it hard to get a clear picture / video of them. But alive. The next goal is to get these guys to make it to Day 10 (or thereabouts), which is when clownfish metamorphosis happens. During that process, they remake their bodies into something that more closely resembles an adult clownfish, and they start getting their classic white stripes and their orange color.
Even though their parents are black and white (Darwin Ocellaris Clownfish), the babies will start out orange and gradually turn black and white over the course of the first year. Here's a picture of Ozzie and Lara when they were young and still had cute little orange noses:

Anyway, the next 7-8 days will tell whether or not any of these make it to adulthood. Metamorphosis is a tricky process, so my job is to keep them as healthy and well-fed as possible between now and then.
